Favorite Record This Year September 7, 2010 Thomas P. Moran (Eastern Oregon) Before I even knew who was in this band, I was listening to it over and over again. It's catchy, different, and everything I like all rolled up into one accessible package. Love it and well worth checking out.
OMG - favorite album!!! Could listen to again & again September 5, 2010 Lacey B. (Austin, TX) Definitely one of the best albums ever! The songs are so unique and twist and turn. The instrumental solos are unbelieveably brilliant. You can hear the Air-influenced and The Shin-influenced in this album - and it is what makes it great! The best purchase I made all year!
An All Time FaVORITE Album of great music August 26, 2010 R. Graham (Western NY, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The combined talents of Mercer and Burton produced an album of music that is enjoyable and intriguing on the first listen and the fiftieth. Initially my ear was drawn to the catchy riffs of The High Road and The Ghost Inside. After further listening, the subtleties of every song show the brilliance of this duo. Your Head is On Fire is my current favorite, and I've listened to it probably 100 times. Dark but thought provoking lyrics support and fit the music beautifully. There is ear candy in every beat of the album. A great buy.
Wow. August 8, 2010 ben l (San Diego, CA) This is one the best records I have heard in a long time. Sort of a mix of Unkle (post-dj shadow)/Coldplay (x and y era) and maybe something else I can't quite put my finger on. It's very melodic and dreamy and super catchy. Awesome.
